This is actually my first attempt at the scarf pattern. Ican't remember what the yarn is. I like the edging of this scarf. I like the way it dresses up a plain shirt.

This is why I call myself a 3/4 girl. As I was working on the Blue Shawl below, I started this Cable Purse. I made it with Lion Brand Kool Wool that I purchased on sale. It was a discontinued color (Tomato Red) and I got a couple of skeins. I had the handles in my stash of stuff. I did not like the edging, so I got out my trusty J hook and did a crochet edging around the top. I think it came out really cute. I lined it with some red fleece fabric, that I think is great stuff. It does not ravel and is easy to cut. It also has some give, but not too much. I haven't had the heart to start using this, but I know I will soon. I still need to find a magnetic closure. I do have some velcro tabs, but I think I want to use the magnets.

This is the Blue Shawl I was talking about. I am making it with Lion Brand Micro Spun. It seperates a little too much for my taste, but it sure does feel nice when knitted.
